About Mason

My sole passion in this world is music, and my goal in this life is to give others the opportunity to experience the amazing art that is music. Through the piano I will teach any part of music, whether that be wanting to explore classical compositions, delving deep into jazz theory, or simply learning to play your favorite songs. I am willing to give you everything you need, regardless of which path you want to take in your time with the piano.

About the lesson

My goal is not to create a machine-like perfect pianist. My goal is to give the tools, knowledge, and encouragement to pursue the piano and music with passion and love. While I would be teaching you, I am not purely an instructor who regurgitates information expecting you to grasp it. I will guide you in exploring music, explaining and showing how concepts work as they come up. Perfect posture, idealistic technique, machine-like tempo and rhythm, etc. All of these things come second to my students' understanding of the fundamentals of music, why certain sounds are what they are and how they work. To summarize, my goal is to guide my students into molding their own understanding of music through the piano. Providing them with all the facts, theory, and advice they might need, all the while catering to their preference and their path.
