My approach to teaching music will be different because I believe music is not just about learning notes, techniques, or songs it is about finding your own voice. I want my students to experience music as something expressive, creative, and enjoyable rather than something they simply have to practise.
I would focus on building both skill and confidence. Along with teaching the fundamentals, I would encourage students to experiment, understand rhythm and melody, explore different styles, and develop their own musical identity. I want every student to feel that their interpretation of music matters.
Most importantly, I want to create an environment where students are not afraid of making mistakes. Music is about expression, and sometimes the most beautiful learning happens when we experiment and try something new.
My goal is to make every class a space where students don't just learn music—they connect with it.
