About YiHwai
Hi! I am a piano, violin and music theory teacher from Batu Pahat, Johor. I have over 10 years of teaching experience in music. I am currently a postgraduate student in music performance in UCSI.
I am also a medical graduate. I graduated from medical school with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2022, under a scholarship by the government JPA. Before that I completed my local Matriculation programme with a CGPA of 4.00 and my SPM with 10As (7A+).
I have a LTCL Diploma in Piano Recital and got numerous awards in both local and international piano competitions. I attended many masterclasses held by well-known musicians both locally and internationally.
I am active in playing in chamber music as well in my hometown - play for music exams and choir performances.

I offer piano lessons from ABRSM and Trinity Grade 1 to Grade 8., ATCL/ARSM/ALCM and LTCL/LRSM/LLCM.
I can communicate in Mandarin, English and Malay, depending on which language is suitable for my students.
I always make sure that my students truly understand every single music performance concept by heart, not only for the purpose of examination. I also prepare students for masterclasses and competitions, both locally and internationally.
Till now, my students' passing rate is still maintained at 100% and I am proud that all of them scored Distinction!
