About Kamala
Professional lyric singer, originally from California, living in France for 20 years. Experienced on the lyric scene, oratorio and recital, I share my time between live performance and teaching. Wishing to help develop the music scene in my new region, I am very happy to nurture and guide the young voices in their development and to support the more experienced voices facing the trials of life. The voice is an instrument that is solicited every day and that sometimes requires a good knowledge to protect it at times of fatigue or change of life. From beginners to confirmed all voices need to be well pampered and cared for

The engaged and relaxed body, the free voice and a real pleasure in vocal expression: I work with a vocal technique called "bel canto" based on the work of Manuel Garcia and the great masters, but adapted to the development and individual needs of each voice. Voice Placement, Full Open Breathing Relaxed and toned supports are the key elements to let your voice find its true color and beauty. A sound vocal technique is essential for any style of music and I accept singers in all repertoires, soloists and choirs. The solfège can be approach if wish.
