Classical Violin or Bluegrass Fiddle Lessons: learn from an experienced, friendly teacher with a Bachelors of Music

I have been taking violin lessons from Margaret for approximately two years. She is an extremely knowledgeable, talented and kind individual and teacher. I am an adult learner, and I've wanted to learn to play violin for a long time, but I was interested in a particular type of music. Margaret supported my interest from the beginning and has been flexible enough to teach me music theory and skills in the process of pursuing my interest. Margaret is also an extremely patient teacher. She has been willing to answer all of my questions even when it means jumping way ahead of my knowledge and skill base - a hazard with adult learners! She is also incredibly supportive, coming up with new ways to address every challenge I run into and willing to reiterate these skills when I forget. Online learning has its challenges, but Margaret has a wealth of ideas for making this format work for her students. I am so grateful for having found her "online"!
