About Tim
I have taught students piano lessons before, and have taken lessons for 13 years before. I have also taken both guitar and violin lessons, and have participated in many different ensembles including both of those instruments for several years from grade school through college.

I have taught students before, and I usually gauge where the student is in terms of skill. If they are a complete beginner, I will practice fundamentals first, and introduce basic songs to keep the student engaged. If they are more experienced, I will give them pieces slightly higher than their skill level so that they will continue to improve and gain experience playing harder pieces. If a student has any questions, they can consult me and I will give them advice on techniques and work from there. I also know quite a bit of music theory, so I will integrate that aspect of music in the student's music education.
