About Emma
I have completed a BMus (Magna cum laude) and excelled in music theory both while completing the RCM theory curriculum and during my Bachelor's degree. I like to think of music theory as a puzzle, and think that we should learn to enjoy theory, rather than dread our theory exams. Believe me, a better understanding of music theory makes learning to play music even more meaningful!

I am a classically trained musician who has completed up to RCM Grade 10 practical and advanced theory. I also hold a BMus and have taken many theory and harmony courses as a part of my degree. I am happy to teach music theory from the RCM curriculum, or to help with concepts that you find most difficult as needed.
