About Raul

I graduated from the world-renowned Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City, under the same tutelage as Marlon Brando, Robert DeNiro, Benicio Del Toro, Mark Ruffalo and the list goes on. I have the privilege of making my living as an actor. I've worked all over the world, from Mexico to Germany to South Africa on award-winning tv series for AMC, AMAZON, HULU, CBS, NBC, ABC , not to mention a string of films, and most recently as a director, writer and producer. But thats not enough for me! I love this craft, and helping people learn this craft, and really furthering the knowledge of it. As my alma mater says..."Growth as an Actor and growth as a Human Being is synonymous." I love what I do, and would love to share that with you.

About the lesson

As a graduate of the Stella Adler Studio Of Acting, my training will be loosely based on the Meisner and Adler technique, with add-ons in Movement, Voice and Improv. We will focus on authentic expression, break down scenes and monologues and learn the process of getting underneath the words to being out character, behavior, and create a whole world. Whether it is for the seasoned pro, or beginner, I tailor my lessons to the individual and really try to bring out the natural talent. My classes are patient, and through. I always encourage my students to throw any question or thought about the industry or craft as a whole, and I do my best to answer. I don't judge, we learn and grow together.

My students have succeeded in booking commercials, plays, indie films, gaining representation and finding their way into the industry on a professional level. You will find the tools to empower yourself, to carve out your path...it all depends on your initiative and drive, and I'll help along the way.
