About Kelsey
I worked in a traditional classroom for 10 years before making the switch to online tutoring so I have lots of experience working with students of all ages and learning styles. I am comfortable working with students who are high achieving and those who need a little more support in areas of struggle. I gained my teaching degree from a state university in Kentucky and have used my knowledge gained from there and working in schools to become the educator I am today!

I use a variety of methods and strategies to get students engaged in lessons and excited about learning! I spent 10 years in the traditional classroom before recently relocating and choosing to try something new. A typical first session consists of getting to know you as a student before any academics come in to play. I believe students learn best from someone they know is invested in them personally and academically. I have experience teaching grades 2-5 with most of my experience in grade 4 and 5 in the subject areas of Reading and Math. Your student and I will work together to get achievable goals so they can feel successful in all subject areas!
