Christy was my supervisor during my three-month community nursing placement, and I feel very fortunate to have learned under her guidance.

Teaching clearly comes naturally to Christy. She has a calm, kind manner and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing her knowledge in a way that makes learning both engaging and accessible. She thoughtfully adapts her teaching style to suit the needs of her students and is always exploring new approaches to help them understand and retain information effectively.

During my placement, Christy played a significant role in developing my critical thinking skills and emotional intelligence, alongside strengthening my clinical knowledge and confidence in nursing practice.

Christy is my clinical educator, and has supported me throughout my induction and training within my new role as a district nurse.

She planned out all my mandatory training plans, contacted staff for me to shadow and organised 1:1 tutorials to give me additional support with areas I find challenging.
