About Drew
I have been tutoring professionally for six years in a variety of settings: professional tutoring centers, after-school programs for immigrants and refugees, university writing centers, and even taught zoology and nature conservation at Lincoln Park Zoo. Also, as a social worker, my profession requires first and foremost patience and empathy. I know how hard learning can be and I am going to be with you every step of the way!

We will work one-on-one to generate ideas and arguments for essays, create and organize outlines, make plans for research and information-gathering and review for formatting guidelines, fluidity, coherence, grammar, and any other concerns you may have! I have experience with AP Language and AP Composition coursework, and I have a bachelors degree in English Literature so I have foundational knowledge of most classics. I am also in school for school social work, so I am aware of the ins-and-outs of public school systems and college prep.
