About Aitana

I am a dedicated chess tutor with over 6 years of teaching experience, working with students from school to college level. I have successfully trained more than 200 students, helping them improve their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game.

My teaching philosophy is simple. I believe every student can learn and grow with the right guidance and practice. I focus on building strong basics first, including tactics, strategy, and game awareness. I explain concepts in a clear and easy way so students can understand and apply them in real games.

I use a mix of theory, practice games, and game analysis to make learning effective and interesting. I also teach openings, middlegame planning, and endgame techniques in a structured way. I encourage students to think independently, solve problems, and develop their own playing style.

I have helped many students prepare for school competitions and improve their ratings. Some of my students have shown great progress in tournaments and gained confidence in competitive play. I also guide students on time management and decision making during games.

I create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and learn from mistakes. My goal is to make chess enjoyable while helping each student reach their full potential.

About the lesson

My chess teaching approach is based on clear communication, creativity, cultural sensitivity, and accountability. I make sure every student understands ideas step by step, using simple language and real game examples. I encourage questions and open discussion so learning feels comfortable and engaging.

I teach core chess concepts such as openings, middlegame planning, endgames, tactics, and positional understanding. I also include related areas like puzzle solving, game analysis, tournament preparation, time management, and strategic thinking. These skills help students not only in chess but also in decision making and problem solving in daily life.

Creativity is an important part of my lessons. I guide students to explore different moves, think ahead, and develop their own playing style. I use interactive exercises, practice games, and analysis of famous matches to make learning interesting.

I respect each student’s background and learning pace. My teaching is flexible and culturally sensitive, so every student feels valued and supported. I adapt lessons based on their goals, whether they want to play for fun, improve ratings, or compete seriously.

Accountability is key in my method. I track progress, give regular feedback, and assign practice tasks to build consistency. I also help students review their mistakes and learn from them. My goal is to develop confident, disciplined, and strategic chess players who enjoy the game and keep improving.
