About Eugene
I have enjoyed teaching or explaining something in some form my entire life. So when the opportunity came for me to teach at the college level, I jumped at it with glee. There's never been a dull moment in my classes. Beside teaching labs for General Biology and Anatomy and Physiology, I have also tutored microbiology, genetics, cell biology and the likes not just to undergrads but to my class mates as well. My passion for science and specifically biology is infectious. I have had students who are taking course just because they had to change their minds and decide to pursue a career in the sciences. And I am always glad to bring someone into the fold. Let the person be you.

I have a two Bachelor of Science degrees in Neuroscience from University of Delaware, a second bachelor's Biology and also a Master or science in biology from William Paterson University. I like to encourage my students to think beyond the text. My style of teaching is engaging, with not just a lecture or me talking all the time. Thats boring!! A nice interaction between my students and I alway keeps everyone attentive and makes the lesson go really smooth. You'll be amazed at what you already and have already seen when it comes to biological concepts. My examples and descriptions alway get you to say AHA! Once you reach that AHA! moment, then my job is done.
