About Akanksha
I recently graduated from Boston University with a BA in Psychology while on the pre-medical track. While I may be pursuing a career in psychiatry, I've always had a broader love for the humanities and a specific passion for writing. From stories and poetry to essays and research, I've had years of experience in writing in every major writing field and have consistently excelled in my work. Professors, peers, and writing experts have commended my work, and better yet, agree with the critiques and feedback I provide for others' writing as well. With my background, I've helped dozens of students in my local community in their own academic writing for classes and even for college essays, and I'm excited to do the same here!

As someone who's always struggled with succeeding in academia without every instruction explicitly spelled out for me, I understand how difficult it can be to grow in skill, especially with something as fluid as writing. There may be a basic skeleton structure for how to write something, but the actual ability to write well isn't well taught. I aim to target this head-on to ensure you are able to articulate yourself eloquently and logically whether you're writing creatively or argumentatively. In my past tutoring experiences, I've found that my students learn best with both broad and specific (sentence-by-sentence) feedback. I intend to continue that trend here to guarantee your optimal growth!
