About Don

I have a Bachelor's and Master's in Commerce and English qualifications. My BA has an emphasis on Language & Discourse, while my MA has an emphasis on TESOL. Because of this, I am qualified to teach both English and ESL subject material. I have been teaching college since 2014, and have been tutoring students of all ages for the past several years. Currently, my youngest student is in kindergarten just learning how to read, and my oldest student is a high school senior writing college admission essays.

About the lesson

The first service is homework help and essay writing, where I work with a student to complete the homework that is given to them by their school teachers. With this service, I have taken students with >2.0 GPAs to 3.5 and up in just one semester. This service is recommended for students in grade 7 and up.

The second service I offer is what I call Supplemental School. This is where I act as the student’s teacher by creating my own lesson plans specific to them and their needs, and giving them homework (optional) to complete in between sessions. As a college professor, I have access to a vast amount of teaching material that helps me create effective, personalized lessons for each student. Of course anyone can enroll in this service, however it is recommended for children in grade 6 and below, and adults who have already completed high school.
