About Erin
I am currently a college student studying to receive certification for Drafting. English essay writing is a hobby of mine as I used to struggle a lot with writing a cohesive essay that still held personality. Due to these past struggles I learned many little tricks and ways of incorporating certain tones into essays to make them feel less monotonous. I hope to be able to help students with the same problems I struggled with. I am currently a language tutor for two students in a separate class for the past couple months and its been a joy to watch their grasp and use of language grow over time. I spent all of my time in high school enrolled in Honors and AP English Courses at Pleasant Valley High school.

I mainly give lessons to high school and middle school students with an approach that is centered around the students needs and worries. I start off by discussing with the student how they feel about the subject, what topics they need help on and what their learning style is. After that I create lessons centered around them with use of google docs, slides and hangouts.
