About Irina
Hi! My name is Irina. I’m 17 years old and a college student at Dawson! I’ve always loved the English language since primary school and my grades can prove it haha! I’m a very patient and understanding person because trust me, we’ve all been there, so there’s no need to feel embarrassed. I want you to feel free to ask me questions or make jokes. My goal is not only to help students improve their English, but also to make them feel more confident in their abilities and hopefully make English a subject they enjoy a little more!

As a teen myself I can understand how hard it can be to concentrate for a subject especially when it feels difficult or boring which is why I’ll be trying to make every class with me fun and interesting whether it is with small active games that helps the student feel active or with creative activities that makes The subject easier to understand. The most important thing for me is that my student feels comfortable enough and tries his best. I would prefer teaching students in primary school to secondary school, more specifically, 4th grade to secondary 4(regular or advanced) or secondary 5 regular English.
