About Oliver
I have been teaching private tutoring lessons for the last two years. In this time I have helped many students achieve academic success. I have never missed a tutoring appointment, and am always flexible with my schedule if my clients are unable to make a certain time. I aspire to become a psychology professor one day, and place high value on learning and helping others to learn as well.

I am a college student in Northern California attending Sonoma State University. I am an experienced tutor who is punctual and organized. When working with my students my aim is to make sure that the student understands the material, rather than just making sure that my student gets a good grade.
A typical lesson with me consists of evaluating what the student's academic needs are, and then proceeding to help them complete whatever assignment they have.
I am patient with my students, and make sure that they feel they are being heard and respected. I do not focus on perfection but rather progress. It is my belief that every student has the capability for academic success within them, no matter their academic standing when they come to me.
I have taught a wide range of subjects, ranging from English, Writing, Humanities, Research Methods, Science and Chemistry. I have also taught students of all grade levels, ranging from elementary, high school, and even college students.
