About Christopher
I have been playing viola for over ten years now and have done most everything that a high school student can do in terms of orchestra and music. I was a member of the New Hampshire Youth Dino Agnost orchestra as well as the All State competition Orchestra and the State Chamber Festival orchestra as well. On top of those I am a member of a string quartet and I regularly perform in public in order to get used to public playing. I aspire to always be bettering my skills so I regularly practice and play in front of people and in music halls when possible.

My teaching style is very student paced. I believe that learning something takes a fair amount of practice but also a good instructor. For stringed instruments it comes down to muscle memory but learning a fair amount of technique can help as well. With proper technique a student can go from a novice to an intermediate player real fast. I am comfortable teaching those who are in the first six years of playing more or less and those looking for advanced technique skills as well as sight reading tips and sheet music interpretation assistance. I am also able to assist with All State or similar state competition preparations as well.
