About Aryan

I am a college teacher with a strong academic and mentoring background. I am also an ex-Olympiad awardee, which shaped my love for problem solving and deep mathematical thinking from an early stage. Along with teaching, I have worked as a researcher in pure mathematics, especially in number theory, a field that continuously inspires me with its beauty, logic, and creativity. I truly enjoy sharing mathematical ideas with students and helping them understand concepts in a clear and meaningful way.

Beyond academics, I am also a social worker, and I strongly believe in giving back to the community. I find purpose in helping others, whether it is through education, guidance, or simply being there when someone needs support.

On the personal side, I am a big animal lover and pets are a huge part of my life. I have two dogs and one cat, and spending time with them brings me a lot of peace and happiness. In my leisure time, I enjoy cooking, reading storybooks, and relaxing at home. I am a fan of Stephen King, and I love how his writing keeps you hooked and makes you think deeply about human nature and emotions.

I also love being outdoors. Hiking is one of my favorite activities, and traveling gives me a sense of freedom and curiosity. I have been fortunate to travel across all continents, and each experience has helped me grow, learn, and appreciate different cultures, people, and ways of life. Overall, I see myself as someone who balances a passion for teaching and research with a love for animals, nature, and meaningful human connections.

I am currently a college teacher in India with nearly 15 years of experience teaching both Olympiad-level mathematics and undergraduate courses. Over the years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds and learning levels, helping them build strong mathematical foundations as well as problem-solving confidence. I have taught a wide range of subjects, including calculus, number theory, algebra, geometry, and other core topics in college mathematics.

In addition to teaching, I was also an Olympiad awardee, which gave me early exposure to rigorous problem solving and creative mathematical thinking. That experience continues to shape the way I approach teaching today. I understand that many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because they have not yet found the right explanation or the right way to visualize the idea.

My goal as an instructor is to make difficult concepts easier to understand. I try to break problems into small steps, explain the logic clearly, and connect abstract ideas to intuitive examples. I also emphasize clean writing, good reasoning, and consistent practice. Whenever possible, I use diagrams, graphs, and simple pictures to support learning, because visual explanations often help students grasp the concept faster and remember it longer.

Teaching has been a meaningful journey for me. I take pride in guiding students through challenging topics and helping them enjoy mathematics instead of fearing it. I also offer a free lesson after 10 lessons taken from me.
