About Juan Andrés
Hi! I'm Juan Andrés, a Modern Languages student and a native speaker of Colombian Spanish. I'm very interested in learning languages and, above all, finding practical ways to use them in real-life situations. That's why I want to help others learn Spanish in a friendly, natural way, without fear of making mistakes. As a Modern Languages student, I also have experience learning languages from a student's perspective, so I understand the difficulties that can arise when trying to grasp grammar, pronounce correctly, or simply dare to speak. I like to create a relaxed and trusting environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and practice without feeling constantly evaluated. I can also teach you some expressions and ways of speaking specific to Colombia so you not only learn the Spanish from books but also how it's used in everyday conversations. If you want to learn Spanish while getting to know a little more about Colombian culture and speech, I'd be happy to help!

My classes are primarily focused on learning Spanish in a practical and useful way for everyday life. We can work according to your level and goals: * Conversation and fluency * Listening comprehension * Grammar explained simply * Pronunciation * Everyday vocabulary * Expressions and Colombian Spanish * Spanish for travel * Spanish for work and professional situations * Real-life situations and everyday conversations. I don't want you to spend the entire class memorizing lists of words or grammar rules. The idea is for you to use Spanish from the very beginning, even if you're starting from scratch. We can converse, work with texts, practice real-life situations, do vocabulary and pronunciation exercises, or focus on what you need to improve most. If you already have some knowledge of Spanish but find it difficult to speak naturally, we can also dedicate a large part of the class to conversation. The classes are online and adapt to your pace and availability. In our first class, we can get to know each other, identify your level, and discuss your goals to prepare the following classes according to your needs. It doesn't matter if you make mistakes! They are part of the process of learning a language.
