We work on verbs, sentence structure, prepositions, listening, speaking, writing, etc... Very comprehensive, hitting all parts of speech. This is important to me because I prefer to know the rules of communication in addition to merely being able to get around. Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behaviour in the language that you particularly like?
I like the word ¨ojalá¨that means ¨Quiera Alá¨, it´s a blend between Spanish and arabic.
Why does speaking this language matter to you?
I am a writer so Spanish is my main tool of communication.
What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?
The main difficulty is the lack of motivation and the most useful thing to fight against lack of motivation is the use of compelling, interesting and envolving material.

I grew up learning English as a second language back in my country and it was only until I moved to an English Speaking country that I became confident and fluent. The need to use the language or being in touch with the language every day via conversations with natives or just listening to the radio or watching tv is the fastests way for you to embrace the language and be confident.
How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?
Moving to the US helped me move forward into thinking in English and stop translating everything into Spanish.
