About Emily
I graduated on the Dean's Honour Roll from Carleton University this year, completing my BA Combined Honours in English and Human Rights & Social Justice. I have experience working as a facilitator who assisted struggling students with the transition into a university environment. I have studied a variety of social sciences at the university level and am able to tutor up to and including undergraduate students.

I approach tutoring through the use of Bloom's methodology, based on previous professional training. I believe in student-led learning and encourage students to have a growth mindset. I also strive to employ Universal Instructional Design in order to be as inclusive as possible and sensitive to the needs of various students.
