About Patrick

I am student at Trevecca Nazarene University with over 14 years of experience playing classical and commercial piano. I have taught both classical and commercial piano lessons, and am also a very knowledgeable theory student. My students have seen success and improvement in their ability to read music, play with good technique, and understand theory and the piano. I can teach any style of playing, but my personal favorite to teach is Jazz!

About the lesson

I teach based on each student individually. I will play some games with younger students or ask older students some questions to determine their skills and where they sit with their playing abilities. I like to work on scales and different types of warmups that are beneficial for technique playing, and I like to take things slower with younger students. However, if older students are looking for accelerated teaching, I can definitely help them out.

Details

All lessons will be 30 dollars per hour, whether in person or online. I believe this a fair and easy price, and my first hour long lesson is always free so that we can build confidence. If you do not like my teaching styles, then I will hold nothing against you, and I do not believe you should be charged for that first lesson.
