About Arthur

I have experience of close to 30 years, teaching individuals with different musical interests. Whether you just like the tune of keys or aiming to make a career in the industry, I can assist you with my lessons. Equipped with an Enhanced DBS Clearance, I have taught at multiple institutions and schools. I have a proven excellent track record for helping students during exams and competitions. Music has dual learning scope - in the studio and on stage. I include both in my lessons, engaging in regular practice sessions and performance training. There is always a chat session before starting the classes. I start with befriending my students, knowing their requirements well. This helps me in planning lessons in a personalised way. You are select between online and offline sessions. I welcome my students to my place, so they can learn in a dedicated environment. Feel free to contact. Headline No free lesson offered - We believe you would be committed to the learning and practice in this marathon. Hall of Fame June 2023 my student was awarded Henle piano competition playing Grieg. June 2022 Hazel was awarded the prestigious / highest diploma in piano performance - FLCM. My THREE younger students (Megan, 8, Brendon 9, Yuka 9) have passed their ABRSM grade 8 piano with flying colours in 2021/22 whilst we had 2 more new LTCL (aged 15 and 16) and 3 more ARSM holders very recently (all below 15). About the lesson **Exclusive for committed parents **Admission through interview **Do not ask for a quote if you are unable to practise with your child - we suggest the ones to withdraw any piano class altogether as soon as the student clearly lacks diligence. Always strive for excellence. Responsive yet never boring. We put a strong emphasis on Sight Reading, musicality as well as technique. Do not believe anything ‘technical’ - Solve it in a MUSICAL way.

Perfect! He is so so energetic and the children immediately warmed to him! Has fully taken on board our requirements as parents of what the goals are and communicates well after the lessons. Clearly has excellent knowledge also and really inspires confidence in us with their teacher.
