About Verônica

Hello, and nice to meet you. My name is Verônica Sarno.

I am a committed and passionate, award-winning classical acting specialist with over 16 years of experience across the UK, Brazil, and Europe. I specialise in communication coaching, actor development, and creative education.

I hold an MA in Classical Acting (Distinction) from Drama Centre London, a BA in Performing Arts from one of Brazil’s leading conservatoires, and a Certification in Education from Canterbury Christ Church University.

I believe that human connection and honest communication are powerful tools for growth — both personally and professionally.

Over the past decade and a half, I have coached and mentored individuals and organisations across a wide range of sectors, including corporate and business professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs, journalism, finance, healthcare, and legal sectors.

My background as a performer has deeply shaped the way I work with people. My approach is creative, practical, and human, grounded in genuine connection.
I focus on helping people communicate with clarity, groundedness, and honesty — whether on stage, on camera, in the workplace, in public-facing roles, or in everyday life.

I am dedicated to cultivating a positive, collaborative, and supportive environment where people can grow. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all methods or quick fixes. I believe in process — in creating a space where individuals feel safe to explore, reflect, and develop in a way that is meaningful to them.

I genuinely love what I do and am committed to helping individuals reconnect with their essence, embrace their uniqueness, and build the confidence to express themselves fully. I support people in developing the awareness, skills, and confidence they need to navigate challenges, flourish in their professional and personal lives, and feel assured in who they are.

METHODOLOGY

I draw on a wide range of techniques, including acting methods, movement and voice work, as well as Laban, the Stanislavski System, Yoga, and the Alexander Technique. These approaches support the connection between mind, body, and voice, helping individuals develop clarity, confidence, and presence from within.

About the lesson

The work begins with a free 45-minute online assessment session. This first meeting is relaxed and conversational — an opportunity for us to get to know each other.

During this session, I will ask about your background, goals, challenges, and what you would like to achieve. You are also very welcome to ask any questions you may have. It’s important that you feel informed, comfortable, and confident about the process.
From there, I design a personalised plan tailored to your needs. Your journey is individual, and your sessions will reflect that.

SESSION STRUCTURE

The sessions usually last one hour, with the option to extend depending on your needs.
Based on your objectives, we can establish a session frequency that aligns with your timeline. If you are looking for a more developmental approach, I typically recommend one session per week. This allows you the space to reflect, assimilate, and apply what we explore in the sessions, and to return with real-life experiences and questions — so we can continue developing your skills in a meaningful and sustainable way.

WHERE THE WORK TAKES PLACE

• Online — ideal for flexibility and international clients
• In person — at your office or in a central London studio (NOT AVAILABLE AT PRESENT)

All sessions are personalised and goal-driven. I introduce techniques that support your objectives, adapting each method to your individual needs and learning process.

My aim is to offer practical tools that support growth, reflection, and independence — not just skills, but a deeper understanding of your own communication patterns. This helps you develop the ability to problem-solve, build confidence, and communicate more effectively.

Throughout the process, I guide, support, and mentor you, helping you develop clarity, confidence, and genuine communication skills.

What a lot of people don’t understand (and what I didn’t understand) is that public speaking is a WHOLE lot of different skill sets and involves practice in different areas. When Veronica first started coaching me, she asked what do I want to get out of our sessions. I just said I wanted to be a better presenter and not be afraid to speak in public as I did. Well, come to find out that there is a whole world I didn’t realize existed for me to play and practice on in order to get to my “vague goal”. Veronica listened and structured our sessions according to what my weaknesses were. She helped me learn and practice “off the cuff” speaking, powering presentations, improvisation, acting, prepared speeches, and showed the value of the warm ups before any presentations. It was an and still is a journey where I am finding out what I can do and where are my struggles. It’s a moving goal post, but Veronica is there for every step of the way. I live in the US and Veronica made time every single session to ensure the timing works for me. Her personality makes it so much fun, easy and motivating to want to keep going, to keep learning and keep practicing. With each session (and homework) she truly shows what “investing” into yourself is and feels like. Thank you Veronica for showing me what I can do and giving me confidence in areas I have lacked.
