About Jess
I'm a PR and Strategic Communications professional with a Master's degree from Dublin City University and experience working across PR, social media, digital marketing and brand communications in both Ireland and Canada.
I have worked in PR agencies in Dublin and Toronto, delivering campaigns for a range of well-known brands across consumer, lifestyle and corporate sectors (like Walmart, DoorDash, Roku, Moet Hennessy, Peroni, etc). My experience includes media relations, influencer campaigns, content creation, social media strategy and integrated marketing campaigns.
I'm passionate about helping students understand how communications works in the real world, combining academic knowledge with practical industry experience. My lessons are tailored, engaging and designed to build confidence in PR, marketing and communications skills.

My approach to tutoring is focused on making communications/marketing concepts feel engaging and relevant to real-world careers. I combine academics with hands-on industry experience, helping students understand not only the theory behind communications but how these skills are applied in professional settings.
As a DCU Master’s graduate in PR & Strategic Communications, with experience working in PR agencies, I bring real examples, case studies and practical exercises into each lesson. Whether you’re preparing for exams, working on assignments, building confidence in your skills, or looking to pursue a career in communications, lessons are tailored to your individual goals and learning style.
Lessons typically last 45-60 minutes, with a focus on discussion, problem-solving, feedback and applying concepts to real-world scenarios. I teach students at university level and anyone looking to develop their knowledge of PR, communications, social media, digital marketing, branding and communications strategy.
My goal is to make each lesson supportive, interactive and useful, helping students build both their academic understanding and practical confidence.
