About Hayley

I am a former journalist for 10 years and also a former corporate communications manager with global MNCs.

As I'm currently on a career break and being away from the corporate race, I am looking to teach as it offers me a rewarding way of helping people directly. It gives me a sense of fulfillment once I see my students having improvement in their grades, having a boost of confidence when communicating with others, or simply being able to put to use what they have learned for their everyday needs.

About the lesson

- I will first find out what the student wants to learn, i.e. is it on grammar, writing, confidence in speaking, daily communication or other goals etc
-Once that understanding is established, I will customize a little test for the student so that I can learn better about his or her level and how to proceed from there
- Teaching will commence once the level and end goal are determined, with a weekly guide provided on the student's progress, exercises, and evaluation
- Typically, a lesson will be taught between 1 hour and 1.5 hours, depending on how well the student is responding and not being overwhelmed. Any longer lessons can also be provided at the request of the student and discretion of the tutor, in order to maintain the effectiveness of the lesson.
