About Trevor
"German tradition training defined my early years as a performer and now anchors my 11 years of instruction. The smooth rosin dust settles on my strings as I demonstrate the importance of building fundamental technique with extreme patience. My MMus in Violin Performance from Manhattan School of Music guides how I approach left hand agility and complex bowing technique.
Developing ear training and sight reading requires an unhurried pace that keeps the focus on steady progress. Precise control over spiccato and staccato bowing ensures that classical repertoire sounds as intended. Precision in rhythm and timing remains the standard while I help students refine their shifting positions."

"Stepping into your first hour will involve assessing how you currently handle the instrument to establish a clear baseline. You will discover that my methods prioritize tuning by ear before we tackle more advanced technical hurdles.
Weekly practice modules assigned with every class provide the structure needed to reach state finals. My 11 years spent coaching students for high stakes auditions allow me to maintain a disciplined and encouraging environment. Expect to work through specific musical challenges that demand clarity and consistent internal focus. Dedicated effort remains the primary ingredient for success in our studio."
