About Tamilselvam
Hi! I’m Tharani. I did all my schooling in Singapore, so I’m very familiar with the local syllabus and what’s expected at every level. Math has always been one of my strongest subjects—I’ve consistently scored As in all my Math papers—but more than that, I’ve developed a genuine love for the subject. I know that Math can feel overwhelming at times, especially when the concepts aren’t clearly explained. That’s why I’m passionate about teaching. I want to help students not just get the right answers, but truly understand the why behind them. My goal is to break down complex ideas in a way that’s simple, clear, and tailored to each student’s learning style—so they can gain confidence and actually enjoy learning.

I will conduct short tests during every lesson to assess the student’s understanding. I’ll go through the answers with them, explaining both the correct approaches and common mistakes.
I’ve designed a personalised note-taking system that helps students grasp and retain concepts more effectively by encouraging active learning.
Each lesson will include test practice, revision, and the creation of notes based on the student’s own understanding. I will review their work to ensure they are on the right track and guide them where needed.
