About Filippo

I spent 16 wonderful years at the Florence Conservatoire...not because I’m a slow learner, but to show just how deeply I love music! I began as a piano student, and after graduating, I decided to further refine my skills in chamber music. Over time, my love for composition grew stronger and stronger, and now, at 29 years old, I find myself in London doing what I truly love most: composing music for a living! I work in the film music business, collaborating with professionals from all over the world.

About the lesson

I believe in creating a relaxed and friendly learning environment, where music is treated with the respect it deserves while keeping the lessons enjoyable and engaging! My teaching style is a balance between professionalism and approachability, where the line between student and teacher feels collaborative rather than rigid (I had too many rigid lessons at the Conservatoire!). Lessons typically last 50 minutes, but I’m flexible and happy to extend them if needed to meet the student's goals. Whether you’re a complete beginner taking your first steps at the piano or a more advanced student, I’m passionate about helping you achieve your musical aspirations at your own pace.
