About William
Hi! I'm Will.
I am currently in Year 2 BA Music at Falmouth University and I have been playing piano since I was 5 and singing since before I could speak.
I absoloutely adore composition and love spreading the passion of music at every opportunity available. In the past, this meant annoying my family and teaching friends about the nuances of music and variety of form. Now that I'm at university, I am happy to be able to turn this into a structured job and share this passion with as many people as possible.
For university, I was accepted directly into Year 2 and am the first student in the course's history to be so. This, alongside my studio invitations to Hans Zimmer's 14th Street Studio in London, will hopefully act as a bulletin of competance where my age may imply ambiguity!

Music tutoring is far too rigid these days. It takes the fun out of it and replaces it with academic rigor. This results in many supremely talented students giving up on their musical abilities due to a hobby and an artform turning back into a school subject.
I far prefer to tailor my lessons to each individual student's needs. With this method, I first want to know what YOU want to get out of our lessons and your preferred learning style. I then tailor your lessons to what your desired outcome is while maintaining high standards of tutoring, and therefore, high standards of outcome... hopefully!
We will then set a learning objective and a timeframe and it's up to us to meet and then surpass it.
This of course means I need to talk with you before lessons begin so I can understand your ability, learning style and expectations of the lessons. It also means you can get to know me, so you can make sure I'm the right tutor for you.
