About Thomas
I graduated with merit from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and in the past I also studied at the Royal College of Music in London. As a composer I have written for several professional orchestras and ensembles in the Netherlands. This has given me expertise in the field of both contemporary orchestral music and music from the classical tradition. As a pianist, I am also proficient in writing for piano. In addition to writing, it is also a passion of mine to inspire and help future composers with their development.

In my lesson it is important to put first what you want to achieve through the lessons. It doesn't matter what level you are as a composer, as long as you know what kind of music you want to make. Then I will coach you in writing your music. We work together to develop your technique (form, instrumentation/orchestration, etc.) and knowledge of repertoire, depending on what benefits you the most as a composer at that time.
Lesson duration is 1 hour per session.
