About Nevena

For me, music is a sanctuary, nourishment for the soul, and a lifelong passion. My musical journey began at the age of six when I started singing and playing. I completed my formal education at a specialized secondary music school for piano, during which I spent years competing and winning numerous laureates and first prizes at both national and international competitions, both as a soloist and in a piano duo.
Music has always been an inseparable part of who I am. Alongside the piano, I play the tuba, which allowed me the privilege of performing with the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Serbia. My diverse musical background also includes working as a church choir conductor, and I continue to sing in various choirs today.
Although I am currently a student at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, my dedication to music has never paused—I perform, play, and engage with it daily. I chose to share this immense love and expertise through teaching, offering my students not just technical guidance, but a genuine inspiration to find their own joy and peace in music.

About the lesson

My lessons are built upon a completely customized, step-by-step curriculum designed from scratch for absolute beginners. I believe that learning an instrument should be an inspiring journey, completely free of performance anxiety and stress. Whether you are a child or an adult, we will advance gradually at a pace that feels comfortable and natural to you.
We begin with simple, beautiful melodies to develop basic coordination and musical literacy, and progressively transition to more complex compositions as your confidence grows.

The First Step: Introduction to the keyboard, basic rhythm, and playing simple, engaging songs right from the very first lesson.
Building Foundations: Gradual introduction to reading sheet music and developing hand independence through stress-free exercises.
