About Ranjita
I am a Computational Biologist with a Ph.D. in Genetics and a minor in Statistics from Texas A&M University. Currently, I work at a leading biotech company in Boston, where I apply my expertise in computational biology to model complex biological systems using cutting-edge techniques like machine learning, data visualization, and statistical modeling. My extensive postdoctoral research experience at Cornell University and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has sharpened my ability to analyze genomic data and contribute to groundbreaking biological research.
In addition to my scientific career, I have over 7 years of experience tutoring students at all levels—high school through graduate studies—in subjects including Biology, Genetics, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Statistics, Data Science, Python, R, and TOEFL preparation. I have delivered over 1,000 hours of personalized tutoring (both online and in-person), earning 5-star ratings for my student-centered approach.
