As a tutor, my approach is student-centered, focusing on building a strong foundation in programming languages while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I tailor my teaching method to each student's learning style, whether visual, auditory, or kinesthetic, to ensure comprehension and retention.
My teaching techniques include hands-on coding exercises, real-world examples, and interactive discussions to reinforce concepts. I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas.
A typical lesson plan begins with a review of previous concepts before introducing new material. I break down complex topics into manageable parts, providing clear explanations and practical examples. I then guide students through exercises to apply what they've learned, offering feedback and guidance along the way.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my graduation in higher education. If the student is interested in going to college then I can assist with college applications and gauge readiness.
My lessons are suitable for middle and high school students starting off in programming and interested in going to college.
