About Harper
I am a Computer Programming tutor with 12 years of experience and a Master of Science in Computer Applications. Teaching programming has allowed me to guide students from their very first line of code to developing complete projects with confidence.
My teaching approach is practical, patient, and focused on understanding. I adapt every lesson to the learner's pace while encouraging curiosity, experimentation, and continuous improvement through meaningful coding practice.
Outside teaching, I enjoy developing software applications, exploring new programming languages, and learning modern software development techniques. These experiences allow me to keep lessons current while inspiring students to enjoy lifelong learning in technology.

My programming lessons focus on building strong coding foundations that students can apply confidently in real situations. We begin with Python, HTML, C programming, variables, loops, functions, conditions, arrays, and basic programming logic before gradually introducing algorithms and structured problem-solving. Every lesson encourages learners to understand how code works instead of memorizing syntax. I create an encouraging environment where students feel comfortable experimenting and learning from mistakes.
As students progress, we develop practical coding projects, improve debugging skills, organize programs efficiently, and practice solving logical challenges. I explain every concept through hands-on demonstrations and step-by-step activities so learners gain confidence while writing their own programs. Regular coding exercises and project reviews strengthen technical skills while improving creativity and independent thinking.
My goal is to help students become confident programmers who enjoy solving problems through technology. Every lesson develops logical reasoning, creativity, and programming confidence that supports future academic and professional success.
