About Rosa
I graduated from The University of British Columbia, one of Canada's top universities and 44th in the world, where I pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Genetics. At present, I engage in freelance web development projects while also dedicating my time to teaching, as it's a true calling for me. My journey in education began at the age of fifteen, and since then, I've been actively assisting high school students in securing admissions to prestigious universities.

Every student has a unique set of strengths and challenges. My approach is deeply rooted in individualized learning and aims for students to be top performers. To not waste any time I ask students to send me what work needs to be done before starting a session. A typical lesson includes: 5 min check-in/ small talk, 5 min assess/ prioritize work, 45 min work, 5 min review. To get the best out of learning, I suggest booking 2hr sessions instead of 1hr. I teach elementary school up to high school level in math, sciences and programming. Unlike most tutors, I am available 24/7 for quick questions or last minute help!
