About Arpana

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering and have spent my career working closely with code — first as a Computer Science Instructor teaching programming to student batches of 10-25 for over two years, and later as a Software Engineer, where I worked on real projects, debugging and building software as part of a team.

This combination means I don't just know programming theoretically — I've used it professionally, and I've also taught it to complete beginners successfully, so I understand both the "how" and the "how to explain it simply." While I can support students across general computer science and programming topics, my deepest hands-on expertise is in Python and data science — data analysis, Pandas, SQL, and real datasets.

Over two years of teaching, I've learned how to adapt my explanations to different learning speeds and backgrounds, which helps me tailor lessons rather than following one fixed script. I'm committed, reliable, and genuinely enjoy helping someone go from confused to confident with code — whether that's their first "Hello World" or their final prep before a coding interview.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is hands-on and example-driven — I believe programming is best learned by writing code, not just watching it. Each class starts with a quick review of the concept, followed by live coding together, and ends with a small practice problem so you leave having actually applied what you learned.

I structure sessions around your current level and goals: for absolute beginners, we start with core programming fundamentals like variables, loops, and functions using simple, real-world examples. For students preparing for coding interviews or academic exams, we focus on problem-solving patterns and data structures. For those specifically interested in my specialization — Python and data science — we work with real datasets using Pandas and SQL to build genuine, practical projects.

What sets my teaching apart is patience combined with real industry context — having worked as a Software Engineer, I explain not just how code works, but how it's actually used in real projects, which helps concepts stick.

My classes are suited for school and college students learning programming for the first time, students preparing for interviews or exams, and working professionals or career switchers — whether you need general CS/programming support or want to go deep into Python and data science specifically.

My pricing is structured to reward longer commitments while staying accessible for students just starting out:

Single session (1 hour): ₹600 — ideal if you want to try a session first, need help with a specific topic, or are looking for general programming/CS support.
5-hour package: ₹2,700 (₹540/hr) — best for students working through a structured topic like Python fundamentals or data science basics over a few weeks.
10-hour package: ₹5,200 (₹520/hr) — suited for students preparing for interviews, exams, or building a full project from scratch, where consistent sessions matter most.

I also offer a free first session so you can see if my teaching style works for you before committing to a package. Package hours can be used flexibly — no need to complete them consecutively, so we can pace sessions around your schedule.
