About Kaventthan
I'm a Computer Science undergraduate at the University of Surrey with a great love for machine learning and optimisation. I understand the challenges in studies students face, along with effective strategies to overcome them. My experience leading a coding society and teaching my peers has strengthened my communication skills, making me well-equipped to support others. As a university ambassador, I guide prospective students and their families, offering insights into university life and academic programmes to help them make informed decisions. I engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds, delivering presentations and attending events to inspire and support their academic journey. These skills allow me to connect with students empathetically and provide meaningful support.

I specialise in teaching Maths (Primary, KS3, GCSE) and Computer Science (GCSE), committed to help your child achieve their academic goals. How do I teach? I typically tutor for 1-1.5hr lessons.
I tailor my lessons to fit your child's individual needs and learning style. I make sure to stick to the exam board specification to ensure coverage of the syllabus and will happily address doubts. Some students tend to be less engaged in online lessons, so I will utilise Microsoft Whiteboard to make sessions more engaging by allowing the student to interact on the board.
Out of lessons, I will also provide the notes taken in lesson and happily answer questions students have. I will also provide feedback to the parents weekly on what their child did well and needs to work on. Having been tutored in my academic journey, I have gained valuable insight on effective learning strategies. My own experience as a tutee has shown me the importance of personalised support, clarity in communication and patience. Through incorporating these, my aim is to make sure my students get the best out of my lessons and succeed.
