About Sabrina
I am a Computer Programming tutor with over 6 years of experience helping high school students build strong coding and problem-solving skills. I hold a BSc in Computer Science, which has given me a solid foundation in algorithms, systems, and software development. I work closely with students preparing for International Baccalaureate (IB) and A-Level Computer Science examinations. I understand the structure of these exams and guide students with a clear and focused approach.
My teaching is based on conceptual clarity. I ensure students understand how and why a program works, not just how to write it. I use diverse problem-solving approaches so students can think flexibly when writing code. This helps them handle unfamiliar exam questions with confidence. I also focus on building strong logical thinking, which is essential in programming.
I place strong emphasis on programming fundamentals, including variables, loops, functions, and object-oriented concepts. My approach is based on building concept upon concept in a clear progression. I guide students through writing code step by step and help them understand the logic behind each solution.
