About Kenya
Hello~
My name is Kenya and I'm extremely excited to meet you! I have played Flute and Piccolo for over 10 years, as mainly a Concert and Orchestral Flutist. I have studied with Monica Park, Soo-kyung Park, Keith Underwood, Yoobin Son and Suzanne Gilchrest. I've performed in masterclasses by Linda Chesis, Valerie Coleman, Allision Loggins-Hull and Demarre Mcgill. I enjoy playing contemporary pieces, with my favorite composer at the moment being Valerie Coleman.
I am graduate of New York University, and in 2021, as a Sophomore, I won the Concerto Competition. I have played in various ensemble, holding principal chair in NYU's Orchestra, Wind Symphony, Contemporary ensemble and Baroque ensemble.
