About Ethan

I’m a concert pianist and lecturer at the Royal Conservatoire, with 12 years of teaching experience. I offer lessons in both English and Mandarin, tailored to all levels — from beginners to conservatoire applicants. Lessons take place in my private studio, equipped with two high-quality pianos, allowing for immersive and interactive teaching. For advanced students and those preparing for conservatoire auditions, I also offer the opportunity to work on top-tier grand pianos in central London. These sessions focus on high-level interpretation, stylistic polish, and performance readiness. My teaching draws from years of performing internationally and working with students of all ages and levels. Lessons can focus on: Classical repertoire (Baroque to Contemporary) Pop Music Sight-reading and aural skills Music theory and interpretation Exam and audition preparation Chinese piano works (for students interested) My studio provides a supportive and inspiring environment where students feel motivated to grow as musicians. I also offer online lessons with multi-camera and high-quality audio/video setup.
