About Estella
I’m very passionate about language arts. Growing up, I was always an avid reader and writer, and I enjoyed these classes in school. Being so strong in ELA made an outstanding and profound impact on my education, as well as my personality and life in general today. I think it’s extremely important for children to learn as much as they can about reading and writing early on in life. Skills learned in English classes and tutoring sessions carry a person through their entire education and career. Before becoming a tutor, I worked as a babysitter for many years. This gave me a great deal of experience working with children, and I believe that I understand how to best help them learn and grow in language arts.

My lessons are for reading and writing students in elementary school, (Grades K-6). I hope to make them fun, engaging, and interesting for my students, while providing them with just the right material to challenge them at their own individual level. I believe each child is different, and should therefore be approached with a different way of learning English language arts. I’ve worked with children for most of my life, and I know how important it is to meet each child where they are. A typical lesson from me might include working on a physical printout / work in a notebook, assignments using a program online, one-on-one coaching in topics the child is struggling in, or assistance with homework or other schoolwork.

Details
You can book lessons of up to two hours (120 minutes) at a time with me. Standard rates apply for these lessons. If you decide to book a pack of two-hour lessons, five sessions (10 total hours) would be $190, and ten sessions (20 total hours) would be $380. Make sure to let me know through messages if you decide to book a longer lesson, so I can prepare enough material for you or your child. Additionally, if any material required for a lesson has an attached cost, it will be incorporated into the lesson fee. Feel free to let me know if any of these additional fees seem unnecessary through Superprof’s messaging system, email, or text.
