About Stellan

I am a passionate and dedicated Guitar tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, guiding school students, college learners, and working professionals towards achieving their musical goals. Over the years, I have trained many beginners and helped them grow into confident and skilled guitar players through structured and step-by-step lessons.

My teaching philosophy is based on strong fundamentals, disciplined practice, and positive encouragement. I focus on correct posture, finger placement, smooth chord transitions, rhythm accuracy, scale practice, and understanding music theory. I believe that when students clearly understand the basics, they build confidence and improve faster.

Many of my students have performed in school annual days, college cultural festivals, and corporate events. Some have also started composing their own music. I create a friendly yet professional learning environment where students feel motivated and supported. My goal is to help every learner develop technical skill, confidence, and a lifelong love for guitar.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching Guitar is student-centred and growth-oriented. I believe clear communication builds trust and confidence, so I explain every concept in simple and practical language. I design lessons that match each student’s ability and learning speed.

Along with Guitar techniques, I teach related subjects such as Music Theory fundamentals, Rhythm Control, Scale Practice, Harmony understanding, Ear Training, Improvisation skills, and Songwriting basics.

I connect lessons to real-life musical situations by analysing popular songs and discussing performance techniques used by professional musicians. This helps students see how theory is applied in actual music. Students begin with essential exercises to develop finger strength, coordination, and timing accuracy.

As they progress, they learn advanced chord variations, fingerstyle patterns, creative solo building, and expressive playing styles. I provide structured assignments and regular progress reviews to ensure consistent improvement. My goal is to guide students towards becoming confident performers and independent learners.
