About Brianna
Brianna Ingber has been playing violin for over 18 years, and is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, obtaining a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance. She currently maintains a private studio in Boston, MA. Brianna has performed in Switzerland with the Borromeo Music Festival, with the Fresno Summer Opera and Orchestra Academy, and the Montecito Music Festival. She also teaches at a private school in the Greater Boston area. She played with the San Diego Civic Youth Orchestra from 2009-2020, graduating as Assistant Concertmaster of the Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, Brianna attended Interlochen Arts Camp during the summers of 2018 and 2019, where she studied with Timothy Shiu and Hajnal Pivnick, and had coaching and masterclasses with Martin Chalifour (Concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic), Sarah Chang, Midori, Dennis Kim, and many others. In addition to violin, Brianna also enjoys singing and playing piano, and was Music Director of the Del Lago Academy Drama Department in her junior and senior years of high school. She is an experienced solo, orchestral, and chamber musician who has performed at galas, retirement homes, and festivals.

I will first do an assessment if the student has already been playing. This will allow me to determine what level the student is at and the best next step in their journey as a musician. My main goal is that they enjoy playing violin. I am very flexible in terms of repertoire and learning styles, so whatever is best for the student is how I will proceed. If the student is new to the instrument we will start by learning about the violin and the physical act of playing it. The main focus is getting comfortable with the violin and learning what proper technique and posture should feel like.
