About Phyllis
We believe that playing music is one of the greatest joys in life. So, learning music should be joyful as well. Understanding the learning reality of young children is critical to their success. Students need to be motivated by their own curiosity without pressure. It is important to understand, that amount of time you apply to your studies is directly commensurate with progress. To become truly proficient--practice is necessary. However practice can become just as creative and joyful and full of satisfaction as lessons should be.

We use a very creative approach for teaching piano to pre-school and elementary school age children. Additionally we teach students of all ages including adults. Because of our professional training in cross disciplines our understanding and approach enables students to learn fundamentals that they can apply to any instrument or genre they ultimately choose.
