Nice to meet you, I’m Kaho.
I have taught Japanese for over 3 years as a volunteer and more than 1,500 hours online.
I’m from Gifu, known for hot springs and the World Heritage site Shirakawa-go. I have lived in Shizuoka, Osaka, and Canada (working holiday). I’m cheerful, natural, and always positive.
Learning English and challenging myself opened up my world, and I want to support your efforts in the same way.

I worked as a civil engineer for 6 years, spent one year at an international school, and worked at a bakery in Canada for another year. I love sports — I practiced judo, table tennis, and swimming for over 10 years each. My hobbies are anime, baking bread, movies, and enjoying delicious food.

About the lesson

About My Lessons
My lessons are conversation-based and focus heavily on speaking practice. During class, we use Japanese almost all the time, so please relax and enjoy speaking as much as possible!

Textbooks: GENKI I, GENKI II, QUARTET
Shared lesson notes

5 min – Icebreaker & questions (including homework review)
5 min – Kanji practice & flashcards
5 min – Vocabulary review
35 min – New grammar lesson
(Introduction → Practice Application & conversation activities)

My students come from a variety of backgrounds, including lawyers, IT professionals, healthcare workers, engineers, and teenagers. I also offer group lessons for families and couples.
