About Theodora
Hey :) I am Theodora, Born and raised in Greece until I pursued my dreams abroad, in the UK, Canada and France. I have been passionate about Greek (mainly ancient) literature.
After moving abroad, I found my new passion in teaching conversational Greek to foreingers and working on the ideal method. Meanwhile, I met 2nd generation Greeks who have lost touch with the language, and helping them with the best fitted method.
Fast forward to today, I have experience as Teaching Assistant in classic studies (Greek literature, latin, ancient Greek) in the UK for students of different backgrounds. Additional experience with young kids, finding way to keep them motivated and interested and simply foreigners who want to learn some of the language before the vacations!

I'm graduate in Finance and a native Greek speaker with knowledge of ancient Greek and Latin. (Fluent in French and English). I have experience teaching ancient greek in university as an assistant , teaching 2nd generation greeks and also helping out children with the language as an additional to school help.
I love teaching especially when they are passionate about language learning or have insights on literature (aka language nerds!).
However even if you have no experience/background/urgent reason to learn greek I can make sure to keep you motivated in the journey of learning a new language, exploring a new culture, or just killing time in quarantine!
