About Katherine
I am a student of Cornell University’s Bachelor of Architecture program who received admission to over 15 architecture schools for my art and design portfolio. I scored a 5 on AP 3D Art and Design and am heavily involved in teaching arts in my community, be it by volunteering at art schools in my hometown or helping those in juvenile detention find their voice through artistic expression. I currently help students - especially design students - navigate the college admissions process by curating supplemental and mandatory art portfolios as a freelance tutor and college counselor, so you can rest assured I have experience guiding individuals in identifying and presenting their passions in the arts!

My students will approach art and design as an exploration of what THEY are interested in - what they want to observe, interpret, and represent. Students of any age and experience level can pick what style they want to perfect, and I will introduce innovative and fun projects tailored to each individual need. Students can work more independently while I guide when prompted, or they can be walked through the process as they see fit.
